Kexin Lu got her MS major in Computational Design, CMU. During her study, she worked as a research assistant in both Morphing Matter Lab (HCII) and School of Architecture. As a researcher, her interest focuses on using computational design as a tool to explore the infinite possibilities of nature-inspired relationships of form and function.
Holding a B. Arch degree in Architecture, Kexin shows her profession in envisioning the complexity and controllability of intricate 3D structures by creating procedural workflows of geometry generation.

@ OPT Industries Inc.(2021 - Current)
Founded in 2019, OPT Industries is an MIT Media Lab spinoff company that focuses on building the next generation of DLP-based additive manufacturing technology.
The company designs materials and products with micron-scale precision on its 3D printing system with a high resolution of engineering microstructure at micron-level. It offers polymer development, product prototype and commercial-scale production services, and is currently working in automotive, interior, cosmetics, medical, apparel and footwear industries.
Work with OPT's Product Design Team and RnD Team to develop 3D printable samples and products from innovative design ideation to additive manufacturing.
